DOROTHY E. COTE HOOKSETT – Dorothy E. (Duguay) Cote, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Cote was born on March 19, 1929, in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Brooks) Duguay. She was a resident of Hooksett since 1949. Prior to this, she resided in Manchester. She enjoyed children, and would baby sit for many people she knew. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed bowling. She liked gardening a caring for her many flowers. Mrs. Cote loved animals especially cats and dogs. She liked taking trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods. Mrs. Cote was well known to everyone for her favorite saying, "I'm Fine". Members of her family include; her 2 sons, Robert L. Cote and Ronald K. Cote, both of Hooksett; her daughter, Suzanne Hines, of Hooksett; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Donald Duguay, of Auburn; 1 sister, Barbara Brown, of Manchester, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Cote, who died in 1976. SERVICES: Calling hours will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 3, 2 P.M. at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Road, in Auburn. Committal prayers and burial will follow at St. Augustin Cemetery, in Manchester. It has been suggested that those who wish may make memorial gifts to The Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mrs. Cote.
