Dorothy "Dottie" Condon

Dorothy “Dottie” A. Condon, 88, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 4, 2023 at The Courville at Manchester. Loving family and friends were by her side as she made her journey heavenward. 

Born and raised in New Boston, NH, Dottie was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gladys (Hill) Bose. For many years, Dottie worked as an assembler at Pandora Industries, holding a variety of positions throughout her tenure. After Pandora, she enjoyed caring for babies and toddlers in daycare settings until her retirement.  In the 1950s, Dottie met and married Stanley Kmon, with whom she shared 25 years of marriage prior to his passing. Later, Dottie married John Condon. The couple shared 33 years of marriage until his passing in 2013.

A beloved wife, stepmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Dottie cherished time spent with her family, especially at holiday gatherings. She enjoyed traveling with John, playing bingo with friends at the Cashin Senior Center, solving puzzles, and going out to eat with family and friends. Dottie will be best remembered for her kind heart and dedication to family.

Dottie is survived by her stepdaughter, Denise Foster and husband Peter of Warner, NH; stepson, John Condon Jr. and wife Elizabeth of Springfield, MA; stepson, Michael Condon of Waltham, MA; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Thomas Bose of NC; nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Memorial Gathering will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Thursday, August 24, from 10:00 to 11:00 followed by her Memorial Service at 11:00AM.  Dottie will be laid to rest beside her late husbands at St. Joseph Cemetery, Donald Street, Bedford on Thursday, August 24, at 12:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Dottie’s memory to Friends of the Cashin Senior Center, 151 Douglas Street, Manchester NH, 03101.
