Drummond, Dorothy Mae, 79, died February 7, 2010, following a period of declining health. She was born July 26, 1930 in Canaan, NH to Leslie Howland and Mary Elizabeth (OKeefe) Howland.
For many years Dottie resided in Littleton, NH where as a registered CNA she worked at the Willows Nursing Home in Franconia, NH. She was very active in the Littleon Eagles #2629 becoming New Hampshire State Auxilliary President in 1974.

In her retirement she resided winters at Leisure Days in Zephyrhills, FL spending time with her many friends. She loved walking the beaches of Siesta Key, Sarasota, FL. In the summer months she returned to New England to spend time with her family in MA, NH, and ME.

Dottie was an avid reader, loved to garden, go to theme parks, and enjoyed special times spent around a campfire. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family members include 6 children: Linda Starbird and her husband Robert of Rockland, ME, Armand Charbonneau and his wife Donna of Littleton, NH, and Shelly Kydd and her husband Robert of Tyngsboro, MA, Nancy Charbonneau of Reading, MA, Robyn Mason of Littleton, NH, , Cheryl Smith of Lowell, MA, 11 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren, and one sister Florence King of Lebanon, NH.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 13, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm at which time a Funeral Service will take place at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union St., Littleton, NH. Rev. Lyn Winter officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Dorothys name may be made either to Merrimack Valley Hospice or to Home Health VNA, both at 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence, MA 01843.
