Dorothy May Poudrier

Dorothy M. Poudrier, 76, of Manchester died Sunday July 27, 2008 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester following a short illness. She was born on April 29, 1932 in Milan, NH the daughter of the late Geneva Rose Downs. She was raised and educated in Milan. Dorothy moved to Manchester in 1980 from Littleton. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo, socializing with friends and family and over the past four years she enjoyed going on walks in her chair with her friend Helen. She is survived by her daughter, Geneva Morse of Berlin; two sons, Wayne Poudrier of Berlin and Joseph Shaw of Berlin; 8 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband David Poudrier who died in 2005. Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Wednesday from 1-4PM. Her Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 4:00PM.
