FRANCONIA, NH Dorothy A. Presby, age 85, formerly of Lisbon, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at the Lafayette Center.
Dorothy was born on March 7, 1920, a daughter to William P. and Florence (McGonigle) Wetherbee, in Littleton, NH. She was a 1937 graduate of Lisbon High School.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of the Lisbon Congregational Church, a member and secretary of the DORCAS Society, and a trustee and treasurer for the Lisbon Public Library. She was a great cook and avid gardener, and was well known for her pies and pickles.
Two daughters, June Eaton of Bethlehem, NH; Lissa and Donald Boissonneault of Sugar Hill, NH; four grandchildren, Robert Rayburn and wife, Kim of Bethlehem, NH, Pamela Rayburn of West Palm Beach, FL, Ryan Boissonneault and wife, Meredith of Landaff, NH, Haley Boissonneault of Sugar Hill, NH; five great-grandchildren, and one sister, Florence W. Lavoie of Phoenix, AZ survive Dorothy. Her husband of 62 years, Cleve Bud Presby predeceased her in 2001.
SERVICES At the request of the family, all services will be private.
