On Thursday, February 6, 2020, Douglas (Doug) C. Greenhalge, loving son, brother and father, passed away unexpectedly at age 41 after many years of pain and addiction.
Doug was born on July 13, 1978 in Lowell, MA to Hugh and Patricia (Noon) Greenhalge. He grew up in Manchester, NH. As a child Doug enjoyed playing sports and hanging out with his friends. He attended Manchester West High School, obtained his GED and worked as a painter for many years before suffering from a disabling back injury.
Doug was married to Rebecca (Becky) Bissonnette for 10 years. Together they had twins, Meadow and Douglas, and stepson Tyler St. Onge.
Doug was skilled with his hands and had a passion for art. He enjoyed showing off his artwork in the form of tattoos and painting canvases. Doug also performed odd jobs for family and friends such as painting, flooring and tiling. Doug loved to go camping, fishing and on adventures on his bike. Doug had a great sense of humor and was always helping out his friends. Many will remember Doug for his strong opinions and ability to share random fun facts on a variety of topics.
Doug is survived by his parents, Hugh and Patricia; ex-wife Becky; and children Meadow, Douglas and Tyler. He is also survived by his sister Crystal Chretien (husband Aaron and children Ryzek, Wren and Raden) and brother Cody (wife Sarah and children Kayley, Olivia and Charlotte). Doug had a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and close friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.
