DURWARD D. HUBBARD
LYMAN, NH Durward D. Hubbard, 82, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2004.
Durward was born a son to Dana L. and Marion L. (Stephens) Hubbard on September 13, 1922 in Lyman, NH. He attended school in Lyman and graduated from Lisbon High School in the class of 1941.
Durward farmed the family farm with his dad until 1950 when he married Juanita Johnson of Littleton and later they purchased the farm. Together with his wife and family of six children, he continued to farm until his son, Donald, joined him in 1978. They farmed together until 1993 when he retired and sold his herd.
Durward was a member of the Lyman Grange and served as Selectman in Lyman. He was a dedicated farmer, working long hours, enjoyed working with his animals and doing daily chores. Durward enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Surviving family members include his wife of 54 years, Juanita Hubbard of Lyman; six children and their families; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. His father, Dana Hubbard, mother, Marion Hubbard, and one sister, Lorena Hersom predeceased him.
SERVICES There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
