Edgar E. Laenen, 67, of Manchester, died February 5, 2009 at Catholic Medical Center.
He was born in Goffstown on August 24, 1941, the son of Edgar J. and Thalia (Jackitis) Laenen and had been a lifelong resident of the Manchester area. He had worked for over 15 years in the maintenance department for Southern New Hampshire Services, retiring as a supervisor. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Family members include two daughters, Darlene Gladstone of Hooksett and Sharon Laenen of Boston, MA; two grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Vetrone of Manchester, and several nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Saturday from 1:30 t0 3:30 PM. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers be sent.
