Edith Herber

Edith (Ploss) Herber, 73, of 37 Beech Hill Ave, Manchester, died March 6, 2003 at the Elliot hospital. She was born in Manchester on May 18, 1929, the daughter of Gus and Mary Ploss and had been a lifelong resident of the city. She had been a cook for many years and had worked as a cook at Notre Dame College until her retirement. She was predeceased by a son, David Herber. Family members include a son, Larry Herber of Middletown, CT; a daughter, Donna Herber of Manchester; a granddaughter; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. There are no scheduled services.
