Edith L. Litman

Edith L. Litman, 81, of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Abraham Litman.

Edith was born on March 2, 1941 to the late Joseph and Edith (McDonough) Duran in Winchester, MA.

Edith loved her family. She was proud to be a homemaker and spend time with her children and grandchildren. Sometimes she would even “shoot hoops” in the driveway with them. She liked traveling and camping trips to the White Mountains and she always planned her family’s summer vacations months in advance. She enjoyed reading and sewing and indulged in a good crossword puzzle, always with ink. She will be missed by all.

Edith is survived by her husband Abraham, her children; Joseph Litman and his wife Kim of Derry, NH, Kenneth Litman and his wife Heather of Westboro, MA, and Elaine Hodgdon and her husband Warren of Rochester, NH, grandchildren; Josh, Sarah, Daniel, Elizabeth, William, and Max, sister Joan (Duran) McCarthy, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Gail Gilligan and brothers-in-law Charles Gilligan, and Malcolm McCarthy.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, May 15^th from 12-3pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium. A funeral service will follow at 3pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
