Edmond V. Bedard

Edmond V. Bedard, 85, of 196 St. Anselms Drive, Goffstown, died November 23, 2002 at the Laurel Center - Genesis in Bedford. He was born in Goffstown on June 15, 1917, the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Cote) Bedard and had been a lifelong resident of the Manchester and Goffstown area. He had worked for over twenty years for L.E. Bagley Company as a truck driver until his retirement and was also a member of the Teamsters Union Local 633. He loved to fish and the outdoors. He was a parishioner of Church of the Transfiguration. He was predeceased by his first wife, Lillian (Marcotte) Bedard who died in 1979. Family members include his wife of twenty years, Thelma (Cordeau) (Cote) of Goffstown; a son, Raymond Bedard of Bedford; a stepdaughter, Jeannine Swerchesky of Hollis; four grandchildren and one great grandson; six brothers, Maurice Bedard of Goffstown, Albert Bedard of Manchester, Normand Bedard and Paul Bedard both of Goffstown, Rev. Andre Bedard of Nashua and Robert Bedard of Goffstown; two sisters, Aliette Demers and Lucienne Pinard both of Manchester and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 in the Church of the Transfiguration (St. Jean) with the Rev. Paul Bouchard and the Rev. Andre Bedard officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
