Edmund Patrick Daley

Edmund Patrick Daley, 64, of Bedford, NH passed away on October 15, 2014, with his loving family and friends by his side.

Ed was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 22, 1949 to Edmund and Sara (McConnell) Daley. His mother, "Gram", raised him and his sisters Patricia and Maureen and brothers Terry and Tom in Camilius, NY.

Ed graduated from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 1971 and Boston College Law School in 1974. He began his career as an attorney working in legal services, representing the underprivileged. He went on to establish his own law firm, Moquin & Daley, in 1984 with Richard Moquin. Ed was known as an intense trial lawyer and skillful advocate for his clients. He received numerous accolades throughout his career and was recognized as one of the best trial attorneys in America.

While Ed worked tirelessly in the courtroom, his proudest achievement was being a committed husband and father. Ed coached his daughter and sons' sports teams and he and his wife never missed a game. Ed was happiest spending time with his family and friends at his summer home on Lake Winnipesaukee.

His family will always remember him as a kind, committed and ever-present father. He lived by a simple philosophy: Be good to others.

Ed Daley was survived by his wonderful wife of 29 years, Rita (O'Sullivan); daughter Kathleen; and sons Edmund and Patrick.
