EDNA C. BLACK Edna C. (Melanson) Black, 96, of Manchester, NH, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Villa Crest Nursing Home, in Manchester. Born on October 9, 1910, in Wakefield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Meuse) Melanson. She was a resident of Boston for most of her life. She moved to Manchester in 1988. She was a former member of the V.F.W. Womans Auxiliary in Boston, Massachusetts. Members of her family include; 1 son, Hugh McConaghy, of Nevada; 1 daughter, Carol Zagarella, of Manchester; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Black was predeceased by her first husband, Edgar McConaghy, and by her second husband, Robert Black who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by her son, Frank Malonson and by her six sisters.
