Edward P. Isabelle, 72, died on Thursday, May 28, 2020 surrounded by his loving family after a difficult battle with dementia. He was the devoted husband of Linda (Berry) Isabelle with whom he shared thirteen years of marriage.
Edward was born on March 22, 1948 in Manchester, NH and was the son of the late Claude G., Sr. and Pauline (Woodward) Isabelle. He was a graduate of Central High School and attended New Hampshire College where he studied Business Management. He was a United States Marine Veteran who proudly served our country during the Vietnam Era. He was employed as a Systems Manager at Eversource in their hydroelectric plant, and as a Real Estate Agent prior to moving Reno.
Edward resided most of his life in Manchester, NH until he decided to pack up and fulfill his lifelong dream of moving to Reno, Nevada. He and Linda spent ten years there and when he was diagnosed with dementia, they came back home. In his spare time, he loved to play chess and had owned several classic cars when he was younger.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Mark A. and Erik D. Isabelle of Manchester; two daughters, Natasha L. McDermott and her husband, Shaun of Nashua and Melissa M. Morin and her husband, Ron of Bedford; two grandchildren, Aiden McDermott and James Walls; three brothers, David P. Isabelle and his wife, Rita of Hooksett, Claude G. Isabelle, Jr., and his wife, Elizabeth of Manchester and Clifton A. Gould of Suncook; two sisters, Nancy P. Herlihy and her husband, Kerry of Bedford and Paula Dow and her husband, Edward of Franklin and many nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his two sisters, Katherine Stringer and Theresa Vincent.
