Edward Everett Jones

Edward Everett Jones, beloved husband, father, papa and friend, passed away at the age of 95 on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born on April 7,1929 in Wentworth, NH, the son of the late Arthur and Josephine (Adams) Jones.

He was the loving husband of Regina Jones for 32 years.

Edward served his country in the US Marine Corp. He worked for General Electric as part of the pipefitters union 537 prior to his retirement.

He had a passion for golf and continued playing up until his 95th birthday. He was also a huge New England Patriots fan and loved tending to a garden with his fresh vegetables.

In his younger days he was an active member and met many of his friends at TSL "The Singles Life". Which is where he met his wife. Trips up to the White Mountain and Camping with Gregory and Lindsey every summer was one of his fondest memories. He looked forward to every family reunion and card games with his family.

Edward was a strong man of faith and devotion to his Lord Jesus Christ.

Along with his parents, Arthur and Josephine, he was predeceased by his granddaughter, Sarah Jones, as well as all 9 of his siblings.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Regina Jones of Manchester, NH; daughter, Lindsey (Jones) Evans of Merrimack, NH; sons, Gregory Jones and his wife Caitlin of Medford, MA, and Jeff Jones and his wife Deb of Rowley, MA; as well as his cherished grandchildren Grace and Matthew Evans, Evelyn Jones and Joshua Jones.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 12pm. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Family and Friends will be invited to a Memorial Dinner after the cemetery to further celebrate Ed's life. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH or Disabled Veterans Association.
