Mr. Edward S. Littlefield, 59, of Merrimack died unexpectedly September 5, 2008 at the Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. He was born on February 16, 1949 in New London, Ct, the son of the late Edward C. and Diana (Bartolucci) Littlefield. He was raised and educated in New London, attending St. Bernard's High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH. Ed was a real estate broker with Coldwell Banker and a member of the National Association of Realtors. Interests include board membership at Plausawa Valley Country Club, where he enjoyed both casual and league golf. He was also a member of the CMC Cardiac Rehab Program and various pool leagues in the area. Ed was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Louise (Hospod) Littlefield of Merrimack; 2 sons, Todd Littlefield of Goffstown and Jason Littlefield of Manchester; daughter, Jennifer Littlefield of Hillsboro, grandson, David Edward Littlefield, and his sister, Virginia Casey of East Lyme, CT. His Memorial Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:00PM . Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to one of the following: the office of Philanthropy, Concord Hospital, 250 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301 in memory of Ed Littlefield or online at www.concordhospital.com. Please specify "center for cardiac care." Or to CMC Cardiac Rehab Center, more information to follow.
