Mr. Edward W. Wilusz, 86, of Bedford, NH died January 8, 2008 at Ridgewood Healthcare in Bedford following a long illness. He was born on September 3, 1921 in Manchester, NH the son of Walter and Mary (Roz) Wilusz. He was raised and educated in Manchester. He was a resident of Bedford for many years. He served in the US Army during World War II with the 172nd Field Battalion, having served in Germany, France and Belgium. He was in the Battle of the Bulge and received a purple heart. Edward worked for Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack for many years before he retired in 1990. Mr. Wilusz was a member of the American Legion Henry J. Sweeney Post #2 in Manchester. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, landscaping, cooking and horse racing. He truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Edward is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julie “Yvette” (Nault) Wilusz of Bedford; two sons, Edward Wilusz Jr., of Bedford and Gary Wilusz of Merrimack; 2 daughters, Valerie April of Auburn and Melody Wilusz of Manchester; 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Alfred Wilusz of South Portland, Maine and John Wilusz of Manchester and several nieces and nephews.
