Edwin Norman Kendall

Edwin Norman Kendall, age 73, died November 20, 2023 after a long battle with dementia at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH. He was born November 17, 1950 in Lowell, MA and grew up in Chelmsford, MA. Nicknamed “Ed” and “Buster”, he was the son of late Norman and Phyillis Kendall, Partner in life of Doris (Dot) Kendall, Father of Colleen Kendall Ducharme, Kerry Heelon, Adam Kendall and wife Tabitha Kendall, Ayla Kendall and Step-son Erik Bishop. Brother to Karen Kendall, Gary Kendall and Terry Bunker-Provencher and husband Don Provencher. Ed had 6 grandchildren Dezzaray, Tricia, DJ, Adam Jr., Kylie and Neveah as well many beloved nieces and nephews.

Ed retired from the highway department in the Town of Lexington, MA after more than 30 years of service. He was a United States Veteran of the Army serving 1970-1972 in Germany with the USAREUR artillery; awarded the Sharpshooter Rifle Bar and US Army National Defense Medal. Ed was a loving father, kind to all, valued life and family. He was a generous volunteer, often supporting those in recovery. Ed loved the great outdoors and loved activities including roller skating, fishing, tubing, white water rafting, camping and hunting. Ed was always up for an adventure with family and made many memories.

SERVICES: Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 12pm-1:30pm, with a brief Memorial Service immediately following at 1:30pm. Interment will be held privately at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
