NASHVILLE, AZ -- Eileen Lena Stone Burpee, 78, of Nashville, AR passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2003 in a Texarkana Hospital.
Eileen was born on August 25, 1925 in Woodsville, NH, a daughter of Eugene Otis and Stella Rose (Wadleigh) Stone. She attended Bates College in Auburn, Maine.
Eileen was the former owner of the Littleton Diner and a member of the County Line Baptist Church. She was a violinist, loved reading, pets, metal detecting, gardening, motorcycle riding, and fishing.
Surviving family members include a daughter, Helen Reeves of Nashville, AR, one son, Michael Burpee of Roseburg, Oregon, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Her husband, Louys Walter Burpee and two sisters predeceased her.
SERVICES A Graveside Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 24, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. in the Summer Street Cemetery in Lancaster, NH with Rev. Les Merchant.
