Eileen Jeanne (Pitman) Wojdyla, 70, died October 9, 2016 at Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association in the presence of granddaughters, Elisha and Vanessa Lacey. She was born November 11, 1945, Armistice Day and Polish Independence Day, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, the daughter of Thomas Joseph Pitman and Jeannette Lorraine Fortin. Eileen was the beloved wife of Michael Joseph Wojdyla. They were married on July 27, 2002 in Amherst, New Hampshire.
Eileen has helped raise children, be it her own, nieces, nephews or grandchildren alike. She enjoyed having many animals to care for in love including dogs, cats, and birds loving each like a child.
She was an avid shopper, always in search of the best deal. Eileen had a tendency to spoil the children around her with her bargain deals. She also enjoyed crafting, whether it was creating flower arrangements, bows, or crocheting.
She is survived by her husband Michael, daughter Janice Plourde, sons Kevin Plourde, Kenny Plourde, Raymond Plourde, Grandchildren Elisha Lacey, Vanessa Lacey, Cody Lacey, Kyle Lacey, Marissa Plourde, Meg Plourde, Emily Plourde, Billie Kennedy, Rebekah Plourde, Kelly Plourde, Great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Anthony, sister Maureen Houle, brother Thomas Pitman, and many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visiting Hours will be Friday, October 14, 2016, 5-8pm, at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl Street in Manchester on Saturday, October 15 at 10 am. Interment prayers and burial will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Goffstown.
