Elaine C. Posa

Elaine C. (Walczak) Posa, 67, of 34 B Parker Street, died June 16, 2000 at the Laurel Genesis Center in Bedford following a short illness. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 1, 1933, the daughter of Walter and Aniela ''Nellie'' (Wludyka) Walczak, Sr. and had been a Manchester resident since 1988. Prior to that, she had resided in Pittsburgh, PA. She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Vereb who died in 1989. Family members include her daughter, Mrs. Roger (Lisa) Bobo of Manchester; four grandchildren; two brothers, John Walczak of Arizona and Walter Walczak of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters, Theresa Harland of Manchester and Dolores Lynch of FL; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial gathering will take place on Wednesday afternoon from 3 to 4 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. with a memorial service following in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM.
