Eleanor C. Card

Eleanor C. Card, 83, of 227 Hill Haven Road, Manchester, died April 15, 2001, at Courville at Manchester. She was born in Sommerville, Ma., on October 14, 1917, the daughter of Albert and Loretta (Perry) Choate and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester. She worked in Theatres for 25 years and the Merchants Bank for 16 years. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church, the Manchester Womens Club and belonged to the Manchester Art Association. She was the widow of Albert G. ''Bud'' Card who died in 1996. Family members include four nephews, David Danielson of Goffstown, Richard Choate, Arthur ''Chip'' Card, both of Manchester, Peter Card of Amherst and Michael Card of Manchester, seven nieces, Eleanor Saucier of Weymouth, Ma., Karen McGuire of Manchester, Phyllis Cardarelli of Windham, NH, Judith Underhill of Clearwater, Florida, Ann Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona, Pamela Payment of Manchester and Nancy Feren of Manchester, several grand nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Hedwig Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford. Donations may be made to Muscular Dystropy or to Cystic Fibrosis.
