ELEANOR ENNIS
LITTLETON, NH Eleanor Ennis, 92, formerly of Railroad Street, passed away at the Country Village Health Care Center in Lancaster, NH on November 14, 2004.
Eleanor was born a daughter to Henry and Marcia (George) Plant, Jr. on January 9, 1912 in Littleton, NH.
A lifelong resident of Littleton, Eleanor attended area schools and was a chambermaid at local hotels in Bethlehem and Twin Mountain. She was also employed by Norton Pike Industries for over 25 years. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church and was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. Eleanor enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
Surviving family members include one son, Raymond Ennis, Jr. of Derry, NH; two daughters, Gay Blair of CT, and Patty Clark of Londonderry, NH; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; and a very close friend, Gladys Stevens of Littleton, NH. Her husband, Raymond Ennis predeceased her.
SERVICES Catholic Rites will be given at a celebration of her life on Thursday, November 18th at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, 101 Union Street, Littleton, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. John Fleming as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made, in her memory, to a charity of ones choice.
