WHITEFIELD, NH --- Eleanor Louise (Stimpson) Johnson of Whitefield passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at the Littleton Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 30, 1928, a daughter to Richard and Ruth (Lyons) Stimpson in Brockton, MA, one of eleven children.
Eleanor was employed at Connors and Hoffman Shoe Company in Littleton for many years. She loved camping and family gatherings. She especially enjoyed the company of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of whom she was very proud. She will be greatly missed.
Eleanor is survived by her children and grandchildren, Joanne Bumps of Danville, VT and her sons, Ronald, Keith and Nicholas Bumps; Jonathan Johnson III and his wife, Patricia of Littleton, NH and their two daughters, Stephanie and Catherine; Margarette Goodness and her husband, Gary, of Whitefield, NH and daughter, Angela Choinere; Susan Farmer and husband, Jeff of Sanford, ME, their children Rebecca and Ronald; Audra Neisig and husband, Todd of Sanford, ME, and children Crystal, Thomas and Caroline; as well as nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of fifty years, Jonathan Johnson, Jr. in 1999, one son, Bruce in1999, and a wonderful son-in-law, Ronald Bumps in 2005.
SERVICES At her request there will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Park Street Cemetery in Whitefield, NH. Following the service, there will be a Celebration of her Life at the American Legion Hall in Whitefield.
