Eleanor Lazzar, 81, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2019 surrounded by her children at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a period of declining health. Born in Boston, Mass. on September 7, 1938, the daughter of the late William & Ellen St.Croix. She's lived in Massachusetts & Ohio but has resided in Manchester for most of her life. She was married to Richard A. Lazzar Sr., who predeceased her on May 30, 1973.
She was employed for 23 years and retired from Harvey Industries. She loved bingo, reading, cooking, trips to the White Mountains, laughing with her friends. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with all her children. She made sure everyone knew how much she loved them. She will be missed dearly.
Family members include her six children - four sons: Richard A. Lazzar, Jr. and his wife Julia of Manchester, William J. Lazzar of Manchester, Scott D. Lazzar and his wife Linda of Weare, and Michael E. Lazzar and his wife Stacey of Manchester; two daughters: Angel Smith and her husband Harry (Skip) of Manchester, and Sheri-Lynn E. Vigneault and her husband Robert of Manchester; fourteen grandchildren: Brian, Christopher, Carrie, Adam, Richard, Emily, Brandon, Alicia, Bryce, Paige, Madison, Jessica, Sarah & Gabrielle; four great-grandchildren: Camren, Courtney, Evan & Liam.
In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her brother Paul St.Croix.
At Eleanor's request no services or calling hours will be held. Her wishes were for her children to have a private gathering.
