Elicia C. Solis, 50, of Manchester passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2021, following a brief illness.
Elicia was born in Haverhill, MA May 19, 1971, to Alicia (Pagan) Baez. She was raised in Massachusetts and educated in area schools.
Friends and family warmly describe Elicia as a courageous warrior, a unique soul, and a humble woman of deep faith who loved nothing more than to make those around her happy. Her generosity knew no limits and she gave of herself endlessly; whether it be her time to assist a friend in need, her expertise in catering and decorating, her ear to listen, or her heart to love. Elicia loved to dance and play games, especially Scattergories. Her spirit and strength were an inspiration to all who were blessed to know her, and her loss will be felt deeply by all who had the privilege to love her.
Elicia is survived by her son, Jose Cotto; her niece, Dhariana Rodriguez, who was like a daughter to her; her sisters, Evelyn Rodriguez and Elizabeth Santiago; her brothers, Oscar Villafane, Junior Baez, and Arnaldo Pagan; and her life partner, Gerry Solis. She also leaves behind several brothers and sisters in Florida, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday, July 20th 9:00am-11:00am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel, immediately followed by Committal Service in the mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road in Manchester. Flowers are welcome, but those who prefer may make a memorial contribution to the charity of one's choice.
