Elisabeta A. Sicsai

Elisabeta A. Sicsai, 90, passed away on February 15, 2018. Born in Romania on January 22, 1928, she was daughter of the late Vasile and Catarina Trailescu. She enjoyed 60 years of marriage with her late husband, George Sicsai Sr.

Elisabeta was a resident of Manchester for 29 years, after moving here from Romania with her family in search of a better life. Elisabeta was very active in helping to establish the first Romanian Orthodox Church in Manchester. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Elisabeta cherished time spent with family.

She leaves behind her son, George "Romeo" Sicsai and his wife Lia of Merrimack, as well as her granddaughter, Monica Sicsai-Booth and husband Elgin of Londonderry, and her great-grandson, Austin. In addition to her parents and husband, Elisabeta was predeceased by her daughter, Izabela Sicsai.

A service will take place on Monday, February 19th at 12:30 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
