Elizabeth "Betty" A. Dauphine

Elizabeth “Betty” Dauphine passed away at home on March 20th, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on March 19th, 1938, in Lincoln, New Hampshire to Floyd and Katherine (Ayers) Ramsey. She was one of 6 children.

Betty lived in Lincoln her whole life. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1956, and married her high school sweetheart, Clifton Dauphine on August 22nd, 1959, they recently celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary.

Betty and Clifton raised 4 children in Lincoln: Tim, Tammy, Todd and Tracy.

Betty worked hard all of her life, notably at The Beacon Motel, The Indian Head Resort, The Country Mile Restaurant, and Eagle Cliff Restaurant.

Betty enjoyed going to Bingo, taking long rides throughout Northern New Hampshire, traveling to Florida in the winter for many years, and spending time with her family.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and four of her siblings, Floyd (Bunky), Catherine, Patricia and Billy. She is survived by her sister, Franny Fowler.

Betty is also survived by her husband, Clifton, her four children, Tim and wife Lisa Dauphine of Little River, SC, Tammy and husband Barry Beauchamp of Rutland, Vermont, Todd Dauphine of Lincoln, NH, and Tracy and husband Ron Sousa of Lincoln, NH, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service held for Betty on Saturday, June 7th at 10am at the Riverside Cemetery in Lincoln.
