Elizabeth M. Fritts

Elizabeth M. (Losco) Fritts, Liz, or Lizzie to those who knew and loved her, passed away peacefully at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston on October 8, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late George and Susan Losco. She was born in Manhattan, NY, and was raised on Long Island. She was a graduate of SUNY Oneota where she earned her degree in Business Economics with a minor in French.  Prior to her illness, she was working as the Administrator for the Nashua Ambulatory Surgical Center. She was the life of the party and loved to entertain her family and friends with her excellent comedic timing, her infectious laugh, and delicious meals. She loved to decorate her home for all seasons and holidays and made every house her children ever lived in feel like home. She also enjoyed running and walking, as she always “walked with a purpose.” Most importantly, she loved her children, family and friends very much. She had the energy of someone half her age, and she was taken far too soon.

Liz is survived by her two children, including her son, Bryan, her daughter, Hayley, and her three brothers Robert, Tom and Bill Losco. Liz was an amazing mom to her children. She pushed them to be the best versions of themselves, while also being their biggest cheerleader and support system. She was always there whenever her kids needed her. Liz was also a great friend, lending an ear whenever needed. As her late father used to say, “life is short, enjoy it while you can,” and it was a great joy for her children and her friends to see her do that in the latter portion of her life.

A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will take place on Sunday, October 15^th from 2 to 4 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, a cause that was very important to her.
