Elizabeth Norma Houston

Elizabeth “Norma” (Andrews) Houston, 88, of Boscawen died peacefully Friday, April 15, 2022, at Concord Hospital.

Norma was born in Laconia, NH July 15, 1933, to Kendall and Marjorie (Page) Andrews and graduated from Laconia High School Class of 1951. Prior to retirement, she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Boscawen Selectmen/Town Office, and Boscawen Police Department, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Boscawen Police Department.

Norma loved watching the NY Yankees, Boston Celtics, NASCAR races, and golf on television. She also enjoyed sending time making jigsaw puzzles and reading books.

Norma leaves behind two daughters, Karen Houston of Concord, NH and Karla Silver and her partner Eric Morehouse of Concord, VT; her son, Brian Houston of Boscawen; grandchildren, Kelsey Silver and her partner Tim Roy of Andover, Kenny Silver of Smithfield, ME, Ryan Dawes of Henniker, and Jason Dawes of Concord; great-grandchildren, Katie, Ryan Jr., Abby, and Hunter; two sisters, Beverly Moore and her husband Courtney Sr of Lakeport, and Flora “Tinker” O’Connor of Cayuga, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ernest and her son Walter, as well as her brother William Andrews and her sister Rosalie Wilkins.

The family will receive visitors Friday, April 29^th 5:00-7:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel Saturday, April 30^th at 11:00am with burial following immediately at Pine Grove Cemetery on Corn Hill Road in Boscawen.
