Elizabeth Ann Menzies

Elizabeth Liz Ann (Hutchins) Menzies 87, of Littleton, died on December 5, 2009 at the Riverglen House. She was born the daughter of Herbert Burnell and Adeline Helen (Drake) Hutchins in Syracuse, NY on April 22, 1922. She attended St. Lawrence University before meeting her late husband of 40 years, Gordon Campbell Menzies, then spent her life as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid animal lover and also enjoyed travel, reading and crossword puzzles. Liz will be most remembered for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. She is survived by her sons: Gordon Campbell Menzies of Vinton, VA, Douglas MacLaurin Menzies of Littleton, and Peter Keith Menzies of Dallas, PA, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. The family has chosen to commemorate her life privately. Memorials may be made to the Above the Notch Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller & Pillsbury Funeral Homes.
