Elizabeth "Betty" Richard

Elizabeth (Betty) Richard, 68, of Manchester, passed away peacefully November 26th, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Dundee, Scotland, on November 7, 1947, to James and Agnes (Black) Hughson. She spent many years residing in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada before finding her home in Manchester, NH where she raised her family with her husband, Robert Richard.

Betty served as a registered nurse for over 40 years, many of those at Catholic Medical Center. She was a kind, loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, and her precious dog (Ollie). She will be remembered by all who knew her for her kindness, her sense of humor, and her strength. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years Robert Richard, her two daughters Sandra Hurley and Ann Richard. Her Son, Matthew Richard. Her sister Agnes Hughson. Her two brothers Gordon and James Hughson. Her granddaughter Lillian Wright and several nieces and nephews.

Services: Family and friends will honor and remember Betty's life by gathering for calling hours in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue, (corner of Bremer Street) Manchester on Thursday, December 3rd from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery Manchester.
