Elizabeth E. Sherman

Elizabeth E. Sherman (Blackey), 76, left this world on Friday, September 28th to be with her husband of 57 years, Herbert. She leaves behind her mother Agnes Blakey, two sisters, Pat Hurd and Cathi Jenkerson and her 6 children, Randy Sherman, Theresa Blake, Dale Sherman, Pamela Sherman, Herbert Sherman and Donna Coulter. In addition, she leaves 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, as well as many other family members.

As a New Hampshire resident Elizabeth dedicated her life to caring for so many people from private homes to long term care facilities and made a profound difference in all the lives she touched.

Betty enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, cookouts, dancing and music. She loved doing puzzles, playing cards, bowling and could make a mean apple pie. But her favorite pastime was finding that special item at a yard sale or a thrift shop and lord knows she found many.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A celebration of life to honor Elizabeth will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King St. Boscawen NH on October 13, at 10:30 and is open to family and friends.
