Elizabeth R. Worsman

Elizabeth Worsman - Active in Rebecca's and the Grange. Elizabeth R. (Davis) Worsman, 71, of 239 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH died at the Pleasant View Center, Concord on March 20, 2003 as a result of complications from an automobile accident in 2000. She was born in Manchester, NH on September 16, 1931, the daughter of Howard F. and Madeline (Sawyer) Davis and had lived most of her life in New Hampshire. She resided in the St. Johnsbury, VT area for four years before moving to Concord two years ago. She attended high school in Franklin, MA, graduating in 1949. She was an LPN for many years and worked at various hospitals in New Hampshire including the Elliot hospital. She was a member and very active with the Rebecca's in St. Johnsbury, VT and the Grange in Lakeview, VT. She was the widow of Wilfred P. Worsman who died in 1993. Family members include her mother of Franklin, MA; three sons, Kenneth Worsman, Sr., of Manchester, NH, Gary Worsman of Warner, NH and Glenn Worsman of Meredith, NH; two daughters, Karen Marks of Manchester, NH and Louann Michaud of Nashua, NH; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Davis of MA, Murray Davis of MA and Chip Davis of WI; her long time companion, Bion Young of Passumpsic, VT; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH on Saturday from 1 to 5 PM. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home chapel on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM. After cremation, urn burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
