Ellen M. (Cadieux) Catano

Ellen M. (Cadieux) Catano, born on October 28, 1960, in Manchester, NH, passed away on December 12, 2025, after a brief illness at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. Ellen spent most of her life in Manchester, where she was born and raised, creating countless memories that would last a lifetime.

Ellen graduated from Memorial High School in Manchester, NH. Throughout her life, she was known for her caring nature and her deep love for animals, particularly oriental birds. Ellen dedicated much of her time to taking care of them and ensuring they were well-fed, showcasing her nurturing spirit. She also had a passion for photography and was well-known for her cooking, with her lasagna being a particular favorite among those who had the pleasure of enjoying it.

Ellen had an unwavering love for her daughter, Lisa. She took excellent care of Lisa, always looking out for her and making her well-being a priority. Ellen was a strong believer in the motto, “If there is a will, there is a way,” which guided her through life.

Ellen will be greatly missed by her loving family. She is survived by her mother, Gloria (Paradis) Cadieux; her daughter, Lisa Maria Catano; her sister, Susan Moses; and her brother, John Cadieux. Ellen is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Cadieux Jr., and her brother, Richard Cadieux.

Her warmth and kindness will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Ellen will be held at a later date at the family's convenience.
