Elliot C. Marshall, 84, died November 21, 2008 at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home after a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester, NH on August 3 ,1924 the son of the late Charles and Winifred(Ashley) Marshall.
Mr. Marshall was a life long resident of Manchester.
Mr. Marshall was self employed as a building designer. He was a WW II veteran of the U. S. Marines. He participated in action on Okinawa, Ryukyu Islands, he also received three distinguish flying cross medals
Family members included his wife of 62 years Dorothy R.(Balla) Marshall of Manchester ; two sons Elliot T. Marshall of Manchester and Alan Marshall of CT.;one daughter Allison L. Degges of VA.;6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one brother Richard Marshall of Portsmouth, NH and two sisters Hazel Pettengill of Manchester, NH and Joan Marshall of NC.
A memorial service will be onWednesday November 26, 2008 at the N.H State Veteran Cemetery Chapel at 11:3 0 AM in Boscawen, NH.
The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium 243 Hanover St., corner of Union St., in Manchester, NH is in charge of arrangements.
