WOODSVILLE, NH Ellis Charles Davis, age 91, formerly of Piermont, NH, passed away on August 19, 2006 at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH.
Ellis was born on April 15, 1915, a son to Floyd and Ida (Moulton) Davis in East Charleston, VT.
His family resided in Piermont, NH for many years. For nearly thirty years after closing his real estate business, Ellis and his wife, Lucia, alternated between Florida in the winter and New Hampshire in the summer.
Ellis was the beloved husband of his wife of 68 years, Lucia S. (Batchelder) Davis; loving father of Patricia E. Davis, her son Brook Davis and daughter Dawn Boynton; loving father of Charles E. Davis, his wife MariAlice and their three daughters, Caroline Davis, Nicole Dion, and Amy Denson. He is also survived by two sisters, Eleanor Trevithick and Irene Holoway; his brother, Eric Davis; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
SERVICES A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 27th at the United Methodist Church in Woodsville, NH at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Vadia C. Boudreau. Burial will be in the Piermont Cemetery in Piermont, NH.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in his memory to Alzheimers Research or a favorite charity of ones choice.
