Elly Vorias

Elly Vorias, 75, of Manchester died February 14, 2011 at Villa Crest in Manchester following a long illness.

She was born in Nashua, NH on October 7, 1935 the daughter of the late George C. and Soultana (Mouza) Kyratzis. Elly graduated from Central High School in Manchester. She was a resident of Manchester for most of her life.

She worked in the restaurant business for many years. She owned and operated Chelbys Pizza in Manchester.

Elly enjoyed gardening, flowers and going to the beach. She was a Celtics fan. Elly truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a selfless and compassionate woman.

She is survived by her husband, Charles C. Vorias of Manchester; two sons, Charles L. Vorias of Manchester and William Vorias of Bedford; step daughter, Nicole Vorias of New York; 4 grandsons; two sisters, Dorothy Chakas of Manchester and Sofia Konides of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St, Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
