Emil J. Tucciarone, 86, of 32 Virginia Court, Hooksett, died May 4, 2004 at Hacket Hill Health Care Center. He was born in the Bronx, NY on September 10, 1917, the son of Adolpho and Eugenia (Carcone) and had lived most of his life in Bayside, Long Island, NY before moving to Hooksett in 1997. He was a World War II Army Air Corps Veteran and was a recipient of the Legion of Merit Award. He owned and operated Butterfield Superette for over 40 years in Flushing, NY until his retirement. He enjoyed aviation and was active with the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Long Island and the Floyd Bennett Field Museum in Brooklyn, NY. Family members include his wife of 62 years, Natalie (Gavoille) Tucciarone; a son, Richard Tucciarone of Brockton, MA; a daughter, Dianne Miller of Candia; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; a brother, Eugene Tucciarone of PA; and nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Thursday from 6 to 9 PM. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday morning at 11:30.
