Emile Binette Manchester, NH Age 75 of Manchester, died Tuesday November 29th at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on February 28, 1930 in Manchester, the Son of Elzear and Yvonne (Larrivee) Binette. He was raised and educated in the Queen City. He graduated from Manchester West High School Class of 1951. Mr. Binette served his country for over 20 years as a food service supervisor, in the U.S. Air Force. He served in both Korea and Viet Nam. He retired from military service in 1971, and was discharged from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. He had achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years. He also loved both watching and playing baseball. He had played for Bee Bee Shoe Company. He liked going dancing every Saturday Evening at the American Legion Post 79, Sweeney Post. He also belonged to the VFW Post #8214, and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Binette had a passion for news, and would often be seen watching CNN, or reading a variety of local newspapers, he was always up on current world events. He is survived by his wife of 2 years, Solange (Couture) Binette of Manchester. 3 Sons; Richard Courchesne of S.C., Michael Vaillancourt of Hudson and Guy Vaillancourt and his wife Lisa of Manchester. 2 Daughters; Charyl Grobel and her husband Richard of Wellesley, MA. And Jeanne Ross and her husband Edward II of Manchester. Brother Armand Binette and his wife Lorraine of Manchester. 5 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive him. There are no calling hours.
