Emily A. Beecy

Emily A. (Buckley) Beecy, 83 of Manchester, NH and formerly of Billerica, MA died November 16, 2007 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She was born in Waltham, MA on July 25, 1924, the daughter of Lee and Eva Rae (Pierce) Buckley. She loved to travel, especially to Florida, read, and spend time with her family. She was the widow of Robert E. Beecy, Sr. who died in August of this year. Family members include three sons, Robert Beecy, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Donald Beecy of Manchester, NH and John Beecy of Stowe, VT; three daughters, June O’Connor of Bloomfield, CT, Beth Lukina of Mission Viejo, CA and Susan Hand of Lowell, MA; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and nephews, nieces and cousins. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday at a time to be determined at the Unitarian Universalists Church, Manchester, NH. Burial will take place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery.
