ENRIQUE OCANA, JR.



MANCHESTER, NH – Enrique Ocana, Jr., 35, died on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at the Elliot Hospital, in Manchester.

Mr. Ocana was born in Los Angeles, CA, November 7, 1975, the son of Enrique Ocana, Sr., and Mary Jane Ramos. He was a resident of NH for the past seven years, 4 years of which he resided in Manchester.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Army.

Mr. Ocana was employed for several years at Raytheon, where he was a senior logistics specialist.

His passion was music and enjoyed playing the drums, guitar and singing. He was actively involved with various local bands. Mr. Ocana was a member of the VFW, Post # 69, in Manchester.

Members of his family in addition to his parents, include; his wife of 5 years, Kristen (Sasbon) Ocana, of Manchester; 2 sons, Draven Ocana, of Tuscon, AZ; Tyler Shattuck, of Manchester; two brothers, Mario Ocana, of Rock Springs, WY; Mark Ocana, of Beeville, TX, a sister, Mary Jane Ocana, of Odem, TX; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, November 27, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM, followed by military honors.
