Ernest Carrion Jr., born December 19, 1952 in Bronx N.Y. son to Nereida Curbelo Carrion and Rev. Ernesto Carrion Sr. entered into eternal life on September 1, 2025 in Manchester, New Hampshire surrounded by his loved ones.
Ernest Carrion Jr was a kind hearted man that touched the lives of everyone who came in contact with him. His greatest hobby was music, he would spend countless hours in front of his reel to reel and turn tables. Playing music from the hundreds of albums he accrued over the years. His album collection was his prized possession. He was very tech savvy and enjoyed helping everyone with their electronic issues. One of his other great hobbies that he was known for was listening to his police scanner and monitoring EMS throughout his county. Ernest was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
His passing was very unexpected and he will be greatly missed by any and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Ernest is survived by his mother, Nereida Curbelo Carrion of New London, his loving wife Olga Victoria Cruz of Manchester, New Hampshire. His daughter Jennifer Iris Carrion and son Ernest Carrion III of New London, Connecticut. His step-daughter Tanya Chamberlain and husband Brett Chamberlain of East Lyme, Connecticut. Step-daughter Amy Cannon and husband Gary Cannon of Goffstown, New Hampshire and 12 loving grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Abraham Carrion and wife Toni Carrion of Hudson, Florida, his sister Anna Miriam Carrion Lugo and husband Vincent Lugo of New London, Connecticut and numerous nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his father Rev. Ernesto Carrion Sr. and his sister Mildred Garcia.
The immediate family is planning a small celebration of life for close friends and family. Date and time will be shared once the final arrangements have been completed.
