Estelle M. Hill

Estelle M. (Gonthier) Hill, 79, of Goffstown, passed away at her residence on September 5, 2024.

She was born in Bridgeport, CT on September 25, 1944, the daughter of Roland and Rollande (Grenon) Gonthier. She was a teacher at the Villa Augustina School in Goffstown and taught for 46 years. Estelle loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed quilting.

Family members include her husband of 59 years, John E. Hill, Jr.; a son, Andrew Hill and his wife Alison of Standish, ME; his daughter, Anne Davies and her husband Vincent of Lyman, ME; two grandchildren, Brooklynn and Autumn Davies; a sister, Claire Vaillancourt of Manchester; and nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester on Thursday, September 12th from 4 to 6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 AM in the Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
