Estelle R. Jacques-Wilcox

Estelle R. Jacques-Wilcox, 88, of Manchester, NH, passed away on February 23, 2024 at Bedford Hills Center. Born in Suncook, NH on March 15, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Yvonne (Rondeau) Cantara.

Estelle was raised in Suncook, NH. She attended Manchester Technical Institute and worked in health services at the VA Medical Center for over 20 years. She found great comfort in her faith and was a devoted parishioner at St. Raphael Church for over 65 years. She was a well put-together woman and had excellent taste in clothing and decorating. She took great pride in her home and made sure it was always sparkling clean. She loved to research genealogy and enjoyed going out to eat with friends and family.

Estelle is survived by her sons, Daniel Jacques and his wife Ellen of Campton, NH and William Wilcox of Holderness, NH; her grandchildren, Kristina Corcoran of Dallas, TX, Kimberly Tautenhan of Plymouth, NH, Avery, Autumn, Alaina and Reed Wilcox, all of Holderness, NH, and Staci and Tara Wilcox of South Carolina; as well as five great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents, Estelle was predeceased by her husbands, Roland G. Jacques Jr. and Robert M. Wilcox, her son, Gary Wilcox, and her siblings.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Wednesday, February 28^th from 4-6PM with a Memorial Service at 6PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH. Estelle and her son, Gary, will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald Street, Bedford, NH on Thursday, February 29^th at 10AM.
