Estelle A. Lessard

Mrs. Estelle A. (Couture) Lessard, 84, of Manchester, died Thursday February 15, 2007 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. She was born on July 13, 1922 in Manchester, NH the daughter of William and Alphonsine (Laflamme) Couture. She was educated in the Manchester school system and was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Lessard had worked at various companies in the Manchester area. She was a very family oriented person. She loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed her hobbies which included quilting, knitting, needlepoint and sewing. She was a very kind soul who enjoyed people. She is survived by her 2 sons, Laurent Lessard of Manchester and Normand Lessard of San Juan Capistrano, CA; 2 daughters, Suzanne Lessard of Laguana Niguel, CA and Colette Cote of Manchester; granddaughter; 2 brothers, William Couture of Manchester and Roger Couture of Plaistow; sister, Juliette Vincent of Manchester and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband John G. Lessard who died in 1986. Her Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday from 10 to 11AM, followed by her Memorial Service at 11AM in the chapel at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, corner of Union St. Burial will be at St. Augustin Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Estelle’s name can be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
