Esther T. Theodore

Esther Theresa (Dancause) Theodore, 97, of Manchester, passed away at the Mountain View Community in Ossipee on December 1, 2021.

She was born in Manchester on June 27, 1924, the daughter of Alphonse and Marie (Hebert) Dancause. Esther worked various jobs throughout her life with the longest and last position at the Home Insurance Company.

Esther was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Litchfield where she was a member of the choir, and she belonged to the Women’s Guild. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Theodore, by her only son, Timothy Sullivan earlier this year, and by two brothers and two sisters.

Family members include her daughter-in-law, Faith Sullivan; grandchildren Sean and Susan Sullivan, and Shannon Jordan; great grandchildren Skylar Sullivan and Joshua Mitchell, and many nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Mas of Christian Burial will be celebrated on January 21st at 11:00 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Litchfield. Committal services will follow at 2 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery on January 21, 2022 where she will be buried next to her husband.
