Eugene E. Morin, 89, of 140 Stearns Circle, died August 5, 2007 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack. He was born in Manchester on March 4, 1918, the son of Ulderic and Elise (Perreault) Morin and had been a lifelong resident of the city. He served with the United State Navy for eight years during World War II where he was a Chief Petty Officer. He attended St. Anslem College and was a long-time parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. He owed and operated Farm Fresh Open Air Market in Pinardville for many years. He was an avid Red Sox fan and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was a member of the Last Mans Club and was active in local politics, having run for Hillsborough County Treasurer. In His Life: Family members include his wife of 60 years, Loretta (Jean) Morin; two daughters, Denise Morris and her husband Richard of Goffstown and Camille Parker and her husband Graham Parker of Ludlow, VT; two grandchildren, Sarah Morris and Eric Morris, both of Goffstown; four sisters, Lucille Boudreau of Manchester, Helen OGrady of Palo Alto, CA, Gisele Clement and Claire Leclerc, both of Goffstown; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours are at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Wednesday from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 in Ste.
