Eugene E. Pouliot, 80, of 324 Dubuque Street, died December 4, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center. He was born in Manchester on March 14, 1920, the son of Edouard J. and Laura (Drapeau) Pouliot and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church, was a W.W. II Army Air Corps Veteran, a member of the Catholic War Vetarans and the Jutras Post # 43. Eugene worked at Rockingham Race track and Wonderland Race Track for over 20 years. He previously owned and operated Eddie's Lunch for many years. Family members include his wife of 54 years, Annette (Veilleux) Pouliot, two sons, Donald Pouliot and Philip Pouliot, both of Manchester, two daughters, Colette Borges of Arlington, Ma., and Gisele Moquin of Bedford, NH, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four brothers Wilfred Pouliot of Florida, Alfred Pouliot, Emile Pouliot and Edouard Pouliot, all of Manchester, two sisters Edna Paquin of Nashua and Lorraine O'Donnell of Bedford, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
