Eugene P. Spaulding Jr.

Eugene P. Spaulding Jr., 80, of Salisbury, NH, passed away unexpectedly on August 25, 2025.

Born in Concord on September 21, 1944, Eugene was the son of Eugene Sr. and Mary (Cox) Spaulding. He spent most of his life in the Penacook area and was a proud graduate of Penacook High School.

Eugene served his country with honor in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he worked at Graphic Packaging in Bow, spent many years as a skilled residential and commercial painter, and later retired from Hoyt Electric where he worked in maintenance.

An outdoorsman at heart, Eugene enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his lawn, and cruising on his Harley. He cherished time with his children and grandchildren, always ready with a joke and a laugh. Known by many as a true character, Eugene had a personality all his own - creating nicknames for nearly everything and everyone effectively creating what many considered his own personal vocabulary.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon (Timmins) Spaulding; son Dale Spaulding and wife Michelle of South Dakota; daughter Teri Sanborn and husband Daniel of Salisbury, NH; grandchildren Claire, Libby, Matthew, Steven, Lindsey (Sanborn) Rowe and her husband Cody, Lauren, and Matthew; 13 great-grandchildren; sister Becky Amadon and husband Roger of Boscawen, NH; brother Cary Spaulding of Derry, NH; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Gayle Simard.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
